Notes on Breaking Bad

S3 E9 20:00 remaining Jesse talking about the wooden box (persistence). After finishing talking about he’s box, he sells it for an ounce of weed for temporary satisfaction.

Fly episode directs how the entire plot of Breaking Bad operates between Jesse and Walter White on how their partnership operates with Walter controlling Jesse despite not wanting to be controlled

S3 E10 12:00 min remaining Walter rants on the randomness of the universe

S3 E11 18:00 remaining Saul describing to Walt how you can convince anybody you can identify whoever as long as you believe it.

S3 E11 6:00 remaining the precise combination of smelling food brings memories to Gus’ childhood Walt describes biologically how and why this occurs. In the hippocampus. Relational memory.

S3 E12 24:00 min remain Danny Boy reference, the moral of the story of choosing the half measure rather than going all the way with an offense of injustice.

S4 E2 15:00 The change of personality of Walter White to Heisenberg is very self evident of how we have different sets of identities.

S4 E4 Start: bullet points identify how funny it is scripting a lie to make it seem real.

S4 Jesse's home represents his mind self-destructing and the fact is he cannot be all alone and incapable to cope with the first killing he did. He copes with it through drugs alcohol and constant partying non-stop the camera in the lab, what does it represent? Walt lives in paranoia for he’s lack of control ability.

S4 E5 6:00 Walt showing how you need to escape the family fold and needing a sense of independence from it all. A time away from family matters. Drinking alcohol in the kitchen away from the family dinner table. In addition, the discussion from Hank about Gale’s death showcases how Walt craves attention and the need to be gratified for his accomplishments. He craves it.

S4 E8 at start, Walt showcases why we are on a death sentence and he has full control ability and to never give up control and no God does not control man, man controls himself. Don’t give up control. An atheist approach.

S4 E11 4:00 Walt hysterically laughing under the house when Skyler indicates to him that the money's gone to Ted. This is a representation of Soren Kierkegaard who states the following: the only intelligent tactical response to life’s horror is to laugh defiantly at it. In BTI the boy in the screenplay would laugh so far when joking about police brutality or when thinking about cows in the slaughterhouse while eating a burger. Laughter seems to directly correlate to issues of mortality, of an inability to escape death. Highlight this point. The inability to escape death. Walt puts all his effort in supplying/protecting his family and despite all the money they made, they are back to ground zero when they are in need of the money in need it to survive the reality of getting killed by Gus. Democritus, known as the laughing philosopher, had the same idea as Soren Kierkegaard. Consider using Walts laughing as an art form for your music. In describing the horror of life itself.

S5 E2 28:00 remaining head of DEA tells the story of how Gus seemed to be a normal person right under his nose, yet he was someone completely different. This foreshadows Hank will have the same experience with Walter White

S5 E5 ``freight” the Spider at the beginning is a representation of uncontrollability. The role of fate and the occurrence of being captured physically or mentally. The kid places the spider in the glass jar in curiosity and wonder. At the end of the episode, the kid is shot by Todd, the spider and child are Parallel and therefore one in the same. Both are excessively and permanently punished, by circumstances they had no control in. Due to being a threat to others.

As we recall on S2 E6 Jesse let the bug free over his Hand whole skinny Pete stumped the bug on the ground without hesitation. Jesse and Drew are therefore one in the same, they prefer observation over possession. Meanwhile, Todd is the dark side of Jesse and prefers possession of the spider and apparently brags about it to Jesse and El Camino. The polar opposite approach resulting in two forms of identity in the world. Consequently, resulting in our world.

S5 E9 tagging trees was better than chasing monsters -Hank after the 9 killed in the jail

S5E15 Granite State: Walters Demize is self-evident in many instances, his ring falling off, the call with his son unwilling to forgive him for what he had done. What triggered White, as it had all along, was the gray matter technologies interview. Rose asks if White is gone and they say he is. Prior to this question, Rose asks if the foundation of donating $28 million to alleviate the Southwest drug abuse was a publicity stunt for the company not to be affiliated with White, which clearly it is, but they state it is not.

S1 Gray Matter The difference between Walt's 50th birthday in the 1st episodes to Elliots 50th shows the dichotomy between Walt & Elliot and the line between their successes Eliot was the center of attention at his party, meanwhile Walt was the outcast. When the family demands Walt to take treatment, Walt struggles with the idea of never having a choice in his life. Let alone never achieving anything spectacular for his family. Just being remembered as something that came and gone.

When Walt wakes up and smells her pillow, in the following episode, this is the realization, when seeing the books on how to defeat cancer, Skyler will be by his side no matter what. In addition, gray matter is the part of our brain that comes to decision making. He had the decision to turn down cooking again, however, PRIDE via Kendrick Lamar was the ultimate demise and destruction of Walter White to becoming Heisenberg. He morally justified his action for cooking to survive cancer and to provide for his family before he died.

I can't recall the episode but once Walter received news that he would be surviving his cancer. He was outraged and destroyed items in the bathroom. Including altering his reflection in the mirror. Why? Because he no longer had moral justification to cook meth.
