Inspiration: The Unequivocal Power To Direct One's Life in True Harmony

“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall” – Confucius.

Inspiration is a construction we create for ourselves to move our lives in the direction we envision. Constructed through the various experiences we have, inspiration is a form of coping with the suffering and pain we feel. The correlation between inspiration and suffering is relevant in a multitude of different mediums.

It varies among individuals, however, in nearly all cases our inspiration to live stems from a connection we feel within ourselves. The connection and embodiment we feel transitions our inspirations into our passion to dream, pursue, achieve, and succeed.

Inspiration creates passion and one who feels passion ignites action. And in taking action, brings results, and results, in most cases, bring dissatisfaction.

The very moment we experience failure, in action, speaks volume to the perseverance, strength, and belief we have in ourselves.

Unexpected results are a form of dissatisfaction we construct within ourselves. Solely this is based on our vision of success.

However, it is learning through failure where we experience areas of growth. This essentially, in my opinion, is the most critical component of success.

The taste of dissatisfaction is bitter. We become frustrated and angered with results out of our control, ultimately leading to suffering.

In a world where accessibility of information is at our fingertips, the avenues and paths we can take ourselves are mysterious and endless.

Consequently decisions become more challenging and this is where our inspirational figures step forward to help both our decision-making and anxiety.

They are the antidote of pushing us forward with our decisions; establishing in our mind that what we envision ourselves to achieve is possible.

Our vision is not only the pathway for moving us in a direction of true identity, it is the primary component of changing the perception of ourselves.

Killedmonk is the representation of true harmony. The harmony cannot be taken, for it is built with the foundation of perception. I refuse to allow forces of society to control the means of how I am supposed to service the world. My depressing experience of the business world was the pathway of constructing my true identity. In addition to the experiences of constant failure.

Your perception is your reality. Forced harmony isn’t true harmony. Artificial harmony may produce a temporary session from tension.

But the tension will resurface.

Whether we seek to create peace between conflicting parts of ourselves, another person, the world, the first step is to polarize what true harmony is for you.

Our inspiring figures build the foundation of our true harmony. Or in other words,

Our true identity.

Inspiration feeds our emotions as well. For instance, Mac Miller resonates for so many people because he is, simply put,

Real.

He built a sanctuary for millions of people to feel true and honest emotions.

Music transcends the mind to a heightened state of emotion and Mac creates an image of harmony and realness that touches us emotionally.

The repressed feelings come to life and bloom into our vision of both feeling and the reality we are experiencing.

Like for us all, music is a form of true harmony for me. It’s connection is rooted in the experience of believing I am more than society paints me to be. The experience instills tranquility in my mind and body to pursue parts of myself I would never have awareness of. It’s unexplainable power gives us the confidence to get up in the morning and live our purpose.

Speaking for myself, I play nice despite knowing the fact people could care less about the real person I am.

Your humanity isn’t respected until your identity prospers actual value to someone else or the world. In a world full of talent, it can become overwhelming seeing others successes and not feeling envy.

So how do we avoid the black hole of the external world?

Simply put yourself under a microscope and study yourself. Push yourself to your limitations. Understand when your attitude phases to different places and the cause of why it happens.

All these examples are only a few ways to dissect yourself to becoming the person you envision yourself to become.

This study of self, is why our inspirations are so important. They are the template of where to envision yourself and they are the resource in avoiding mistakes as they’ve been through the journey.

When studying your inspirations, you’ll learn very quickly they are experts of themselves.

Once you make the conscious decision of who you want to be and perceive yourself in your true identity, you will find more joy because you have removed the artificial harmony in your life.

It is the psychological law of nature to rebel with ruthless unrest to transmute yourself in real change.

This exaggeration of polarization will make the whole situation for yourself, or group, clear on what you want to cultivate to the world.

You will realize nothing is stopping you but yourself.

With that being said, my latest single, Neighborhoods, is a cultivation of inspiration, the unfamiliar, and embodying who you envision yourself to be.

Neighborhoods is a transient heavy experimental electronic instrumental. A euphoric experience of walking through different rooms or blocks in a neighborhood. Inspired by the great instrumentalists Burial & Arca, my intention was to give my audience a unique experience of walking through uncharted territory yet having the curiosity to continue forward. The instrumental presents heavy drum patterns, powerful synthesizers, samples, and an eerie melodic environment.

You’ll be uncomfortable by its sound. As a matter of fact, I can guarantee the first listen will be challenging due to its unfamiliarity. However, the unfamiliar Neighborhoods will give you a different perspective on the concept of art and how reality can be shaped in the realm of creativity.

Neighborhoods will be out on all platforms March 4th.
